It's been a long time since I last posted.

Life as an academic is hard work and a lot has changed. Berlyn is 9 years old now. I've met a wonderful, pretty, and wickedly smart lady in Dr. Catherine Cooper, and I've gone from a Masters student to a twice published PhD candidate.

I'm still researching Snake River Fall Chinook Salmon, using isotopes in their ear bones to track their movement. I've also done some awesome work with Dr. Tommaso Giarrizzo with Amazonian migratory catfish which was recently submitted. When it's published I'll post a link.

Until then, I'm planning to resurrect this blog as a way to talk more about my research and my travels through academia. Watch for an updated template soon and more posts. Stay tuned!
